In the wms connection settings of QGIS (client) , select 'Ignore
GetMap url' and 'Ignore GetFeatureInfo url'.<br>

opening the WMS service in QGIS, I get a blank map... and no
getmap request
is logged in Apache logs, only the getcapabilities requests are
logged.
