<P class=MsoNormal>I’ve just began to use QGIS, which looks like a wonderful piece of software. I wonder if anyone can help me with a query. I have a hand-held Garmin GPSMAP 62s GPS with which I collect waypoints while out in the field, stored in a *.gpx file. Within QGIS I wish to:<o:p></o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Import the gpx file and have the waypoints plotted as points within the BNG projection (EPSG:27700), each labelled according to their individual ‘wpt’ tag held within the gpx file.<o:p></o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Create a new column within the table created from the gpx file and populate this with the OS Grid Reference for each waypoint (e.g. SD4568798345). <o:p></o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Add a Google Earth layer as background<o:p></o:p></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></P>
