<p>Same problem here with a raster in coord. system X (WGS84) re-projected with "on-the-fly projection" in the project having coord. system Y (WGS84 UTM30N).</p>

<p>The black (green in my case) "triangles" around the raster cannot be made transparent and the Value Tool says "out of extent" when the mouse is over those triangles.</p>
