I'm not a Linux wonk.<br>

Since you are using two commands on the same line joined by a pipe, "|",<br>
you might need a second "sudo" after the pipe.<br>
<br>
Also, try entering "sudo" and the password first. Then enter your<br>
commands normally..<br>
<br>
Heck, why don't you just go superuser and enter the commands.? Come on,<br>
show that computer who is boss!<br>

I believe this might be a bug.<br>
<br>
After adding a shpapefile to qgis, "toggle editing" is active.<br>
<br>
After using the query tool to view only a selection of fectures, "toggle<br>
editing" ceases to be active, even after clearing the query expression.<br>
<br>
In this cases I have to remove the layer and add the shapefile again.<br>
<br>
Can other users, particularly on windows or mac, confirm this behaviour?<br>
<br>
OS: ubuntu 12.04.<br>

neither on Win7 with QGIS 2.0.1 (64 bit) nor on OpenSuse 64bit<br>
you have do deactivate and reactivate the layer before toggle editing<br>

Maybe I am not explained correctly what I want.<br>

I don't want secure the acces to the qgis-web-client. I want secure the<br>
acces to the qgis wfs server when I connect to the map exported using<br>
qgis desktop.<br>

The situation is this:<br>
<br>
I can't acces directrly from qgis desktop (local) to postgresql database<br>
(remote) due the connexion conditions. For solve this, I create a qgis<br>
project (mymap.qgs) in the remote server that access directly to the<br>
database, and connect to this file with a wfs service (in my local qgis<br>
desktop I load a wfs layer from mymap.qgs with the data).<br>
<br>
This configuration increase the speed in connexion (load wfs remote<br>
layer is more fast than load remote postgres layer) but has the problem<br>
that someone can connect to the wfs server and edit the data. Is this<br>
wfs connection what I want protect.<br>
<br>
Now I am testing things about URL rewriting acconding comments from<br>
Andreas Newman.<br>

About Lizmap, I tested this web client time ago and I don't know if can<br>
do what I want. I will test :-)<br>
