<p dir="ltr">Yes currently the 64bit installer contians ECW but the 32bit doesn't. Thee are using different GDAL versions.</p>

I did a fresh (quick)-install of QGIS via the osgeo4w-64bit installer on<br>
a Windows7 machine last week, and was confronted with a dialog (Erdas?),<br>
and after that QGIS could just load ECW...<br>

Is this only with 64bit installer (as I found in the mailinglist<br>

The (ever changing status of ecw) would be a candidate for the FAQ in<br>
