I am using QGIS 2.2.0 Valmiera on Windows 8. Regardless of the version of QGIS I use, I've always had some sort of problem with python plugin OpenLayers. With this version, I succeeded in installing the plugin but then when I select "Plugins" >> "OpenLayers plugin" >> "Add Google Street Layer" or "Add Google Satellite Layer", the following error pops up and I can't seem to find a solution to this problem! I am not really familiar with HTML coding.
I am trying to add pictures changing according to my atlas feature.
My atlas feature layer has a field called picture with the name of a
picture that is inside a pictures folder ( windows).
Let's say I have a path like
C:\gis\monitoring\swim\pictures\
the path in the html label should be written relative to the qgis project
or mut it be absolute?
must it be something like

I'm just guessing about this error ( TypeError: unable to convert a
QVariant of type 10 to a QMetaType of type 2 Python ). It led me to
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://hub.qgis.org/issues/8934">http://hub.qgis.org/issues/8934</a> and maybe it's the decimal symbol. Maybe
you have comma as decimal symbol, so try setting it to point (maybe all the
system) ... and tell us.

it seem that the support for ESRI geodatabase (.mdb) is enabled only in
OSGEO version but it doesn't work with the standalone installer version.
Can anyone confirm or it's just my local problem ?

Same behavior with my QGIS 2.2 - Ubuntu. I took it as normal because of the

I have a task to edit large polylines which are mostly following parcel
bordes.
I have to correct places where is a difference between polyline and parcel
borders.
1. I am looking for a tool for snapping one polyline to other polylines
within some tolerance - e.g 1 meter. I have tried GRASS tool v.clean, but
there is no chance to set layer to be edited and layer to be used for
snapping.
2. Other option is to create new polyline by semiautomatic digitization -
tool would automaticaly trace parcel borders (and draw new polyline) and
user have to choose manualy on every intersection which way it should
continue. Similar tool is TraceDigitizing, I have tried it, but it is not
suitable for this purpose - it snaps also to other points nearby. Do you
know about other tool?
I am looking forward to your hints and advice...

Hi Tomas,
I have not found an open source tool to do this, but I have done this on
numerous occasions in a scriptable GIS toolkit (proprietry Linux based).
My methodology is not fool proof, depending on the details at the land
parcel level. If there are narrow servitudes (road widenings etc) then
it is difficult to programmatically snap onto the correct line (if their
attributes don't differentiate between them).
If you come up with an open-source solution, then please let us all know.
If not, then contact me off list to see if I can help you.
