Hello,<br>

I just upgraded my system to a new Mac Pro and installed the latest QGIS<br>
2.2.0 for Mac.<br>
<br>
I am finding the performance very very slow. I seem to remember QGIS being<br>
much faster than ArcGIS but as of right now it is nearly unusable.<br>
Digitizing new features is close to impossible. I have to use my iPad to<br>
digitize polygons from GPS tracks as I simply can not get it done on my new<br>
mac pro and qgis.<br>
<br>
I have installed all of Williams latest required frameworks, all required<br>
files are installed and working fine. Just a really slow display with<br>
beach-balls lasting 15-30s every point digitized or map move.<br>
<br>
Is this new, known or abnormal?<br>
<br>
I dread going through all the hoops of installing my license of ArcGIS 9.3<br>
and seem to remember geoprocessing to be much much faster with QGIS tools.<br>
<br>
I hope there is just a quick known issue i can fix.<br>

Version 2.3.0+git20140510+9aff0d7~trusty1 is working for me. It is the<br>
one with standard dependencies (I think the ubuntugis one is not<br>
available yet).<br>

Hi,<br>

I have a layer renderized using the categorized style.<br>
<br>
And have another layer that have different values , but always rendered<br>
using the categorized style.<br>
<br>
I know is possible to save in a QML and import in the second layer.<br>
But this is a destructive operation.<br>
All or nothing.<br>
Instead I like to copy only the rendering of few category values.<br>
<br>
Is this possible ?<br>
<br>
I see a copy option when click the right mouse button on the single value<br>
of cateogy list.<br>
But If a choose "copy" and after this try a "paste" in the category list of<br>
the second layer.<br>
Nothing happened.<br>
<br>
So the only option actually I know is export both using qml. Then open them<br>
with a text editor and copy/paste specific sections of the first qml in the<br>
second qml.<br>
