<p dir="ltr">Hi,<br>

Unlike most file formats, a .tab file is actually 4 files with 4 different extensions (see below).  They must all be copied at the same place in the computer (same directory) if you want to open the .tab. </p>

<p dir="ltr">Make sure you have all 4 files.  If all you have is the .tab, nothing will work.  Could this be the problem?<br></p>

My laptop os is win7. And make of laptop is fisitgu make. Same is working over Dell make laptop with win7 os.

maybe your tab-file is corrupted? Does your other tab-files work properly? As workaround you could use Universal Translator in MapInfo and convert MapInfo Tab to Esri Shape (for example). Try opening this in QGIS.
