<div style="direction: ltr;font-family: Tahoma;color: #000000;font-size: 10pt;">Have just noticed that the plugin in the latest version of the qgis 2.6.1 download was out of date so updated plugin and it does now work. Obviously the plugin was fixed very recently.<br>

<br>
I say half work with google as google physical works but google satellite only shows southern hemisphere.<br>
<br>
This is using the web menu in 2.6.1 installed via osgeo4w not the standalone installer but accepting all the dependencies.<br>
