<p dir="ltr">Hi, there are many ways to do it. This is what I would do.</p>
<p dir="ltr">First you need to model the landfill. You will need point data or contour lines with the z info on the land fill. </p>
<p dir="ltr">Second, you need to interpolate the vector data to create a raster model of the land fill. The polyline can be used as a break line. (Raster, interpolation or use gdal-dem in Raster\analysis\dem or Grass). Find the best interpolation for your data and needs. For more predictable results, use the same griding scheme as your original data.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Finally, use the raster calculator and do<br>
Original layer - landfill model = new layer (carefully select the extent, columns and rows of the new layer). Raster math is done on pixel centroids.<br>
