In that software you can choose to export an image with a *.wld

<br>
sorry for the mistake, andrea...<br>
I was referring properly to <a
moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://hub.qgis.org/issues/6985"
rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">http://hub.qgis.org/issues/6985</a>
and I was<br>
remembering something about Portugues public body
needs, as stated by<br>
giovanni manghi in that thread.<br>
<br>
only a general comment, if I may.<br>
as andrea said, this function has been paid by the
Tuscany Region, who felt<br>
it was worth investing money for developing this
features.<br>
but after its publication, at some time in history
of QGIS, this function<br>
has disappeared.<br>
<br>
I think it would take a little more attention
because these facts could<br>
disincentive investitors: one pays for a development
and after a while this<br>
development disappears ...<br>
<br>
just an opinion and nothing more<br>
<br>
thank you all and ciao<br>
<br>
s.<br>
