<p>I've just made a test using another areal shape file (similar) composed by many poligons but without holes.<br>
I works fine.<br>
Should be the holes causing problems?<br>

The same operation in Geomedia takes no more than 5 seconds and the results is more or less 32k points.<br>
Any suggestion?<br>
