<p> Hi,</p>

<p>I made a non-spatial MS SQL Server table spatial with a virtual layer (QGIS master), by using the <span>geom_from_wkt() function - quite cool btw!</span></p>

<p>Now - I have a question on performance: while the rendering speed is quite ok, the picking of the points is quite slow. Is there a way to create a temporay spatial index on the virtual layer?</p>
