I had someone decide to start the move to qgis (from arcgis) and
linux (from windows 7). They are going with Ubuntu 16.04 (xenial). <br>

So Last night I was walking though the instructions for installing
qgis. <br>
This works: <br>
deb <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://qgis.org/debian">http://qgis.org/debian</a> xenial main<br>
<br>
This now works: <br>
ppa:ubuntugis/ubuntugis-unstable <strong><br>
<br>
</strong>this doesn't work: <strong></strong><br>
deb <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://qgis.org/ubuntugis">http://qgis.org/ubuntugis</a> xenial main<strong><br>
</strong><br>
I checked the dists under the last repo and there is no xenial -
which means it won't work for anything but trusty. With the revival
of UbuntuGIS and the release of xenial is the last repository worth
"fixing" or building again. <br>
