Linux Mint 17.2<br>
Eventually managed to reinstall QGIS, upgrading from 2.16 to 2.18.<br>
Was working OK</font><font face="Arial"><font face="Arial"> for
about a day</font> (apart from missing geoprocessing/geometry
& analysis tools now mostly resolved), then started crashing
out instantly. <br>
<br>
I think I've tracked it down to applying a categorised style to a
polyline shapefile, some of the categories are turned off so they
don't display. I've been digitising against this on & off for
a day & it was OK, then suddenly started crashing.<br>
<br>
In case it's relevant, my GRASS7 plugins aren't working either.<br>
