<div>i have the following question how i could the best perform the following:</div>

<div>i have two layers for which i want to to select in layer 1 an object (in my case a line segment)</div>

<div>and find in layer 2 all the objects (line segments) within in a specific radius like r = 2km.</div>

<div>I know i can do manually in map canvas and make a select but it shall be more automatically</div>

<div>like telling QGIS the ID of the link</div>
