It's a bug in 3.0 fixed meanwhile (<a href="https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pull/6472" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/<wbr>pull/6472</a>). Then should be available at next point release.<br>
Tell him to use the toolbox in the meantime.<br>
