Either the matrix hight and width is too big for the memory or your are running into a new problem. The calculator was modified. It can now handle very big rasters at a decent speed. (Bravo team!) you could use the saga calculator or the gdla_calc. Both your files will need to have the same extent, CRS and pixel posting for those algorithms to work. There is a algorithm in the raster menu that will help you match the files. <p class="MsoNormal">Testing the latest master version involves going through IT security to get an install which can take weeks to get resolved… but I am trying a workaround by using Translate (Convert Format) tool to compress the file and see if it will pass
through the calculator. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">But in the meantime I will look into getting the latest version of QGIS.<o:p></o:p></p>
