<p>Hi Matthias,</p>
<p>actually I am already quite happy about what I managed to set up.
<br>
</p>
<p>Found my final set-up at 3 a.m.. Especially the transferability
of styling of the layers (scale dependencies of labels, visibility
etc) is really great, but act a bit different than on the PC.
Basemap rendering is a bit slow..<br>
</p>
<p>I will have to enter the ID manually for now, which will
definitely produce some errors, but it is a first test.</p>
<p>So, now I'm on my way to my first QField-test in the field :) I
will definitely test more things and report back! </p>
<p>Thanks for all your efforts,</p>

<p>Hi Bernd,</p>
<p>Welcome on board!</p>
<p>It's not yet available but under heavy development in our
R&D labs. There are a couple of early development
screenshots available at <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="https://github.com/opengisch/QField/pull/502"
moz-do-not-send="true">https://github.com/opengisch/QField/pull/502</a>
and even a alpha test app, but it will still require some work
before it's ready for prime time.</p>
<p>So for now, you will have to work with a plan B, but if you can
wait a month or two, you will be able to directly add your
inspections via nested forms.</p>
<p>Btw, there is a "fix me" link at the bottom of each page in the
docs, if you happen to find something that needs improvement,
we'll be very happy to have it fixed!</p>
<p>Best regards</p>

<br>
I'm going to try QField in the field for the first time, and,
like always, I want to make it complicated ;) <br>
<br>
I have a point layer with over 500 nestingboxes in a huge area,
and we are going to inspect and clean them. <br>
<br>
I created a Geopackage with this layer and also a non-spatial
table where I would like to enter the results/actions which were
taken on the boxes (value maps etc) and created a relation
between those two layers via the box id. <br>
<br>
In QGIS itself, I can easily add a new entry in the non-spatial
table via the form for the point layer. <br>
<br>
The same does not seem to work in QField, there I just see the
attributes of the point layer and thats it. <br>
<br>
Is there a way to use relations in QField? It's not mentioned in
the docs (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext"
href="https://www.qfield.org/docs/index.html"
moz-do-not-send="true">https://www.qfield.org/docs/index.html</a>)
that it is not possible, but actually threre is not a lot
mentioned anyway ;) <br>
<br>
<br>
Any ideas? <br>
<br>
Cheers, <br>

Bernd <br>
