      <p>Hi Saber,</p>
      <p>ok will the clipped Boulder data be suitable for the 3D dataset
        that we want to provide in the qgis sample data?</p>
      <p>I wonder if srtm data will have a good resolution. Will you
        also clip a srtm dataset for usage in the qgis sample data?</p>
      <p>Then I would of course prefer to use this data so that a user
        can quickly check out the usage of the 3D view functionalities!</p>

              <p>I think your blog should be updated as I still only can
                depict a flat plane of the data in the 3d view tool.</p>

                          Unfortunately qgis crashes when loading the
                          shapefile into the 3d view.<br>

                          Also, where do I have access to the

                          but no "z-value"  in the 3d view application.
                          Extrusion doesn't help<br>
                          solute the problem.<br>

                          There is a hint that these data have something
                          to do with GeoJSon, so<br>
                          maybe I have to find another 3d data suitable
                          for using in the 3D view<br>
                          application.<br>

                          Can somebody help?<br>
