<div dir="ltr">I just released a new version of <b>KML Tools</b> (<a href="https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/kmltools/">https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/kmltools/</a>) that enhances the <b>Export KMZ</b> algorithm to include the ability to specify a photo attribute which will be included in the KMZ and be displayed in the Google Earth popup. The photo attribute needs to be the complete file path to the image. It is also wise to make sure the images are only small thumbnail images. The latest KML Tools plugins require QGIS 3.14 or later.<div><br></div><div>One use case is to use the QGIS processing algorithm "<b>Vector creation->Import geotagged photos</b>". This creates a vector layer that contains a <b>Photo </b>attribute. When you run <b>Export KMZ</b> in <b>KML Tools</b> select the Photo attribute for <b>Image path/name field</b>. Each of the images will be copied to the resulting KMZ and will be displayed in the Google Earth popup when the user clicks on any of the placemarks.</div><div><br></div><div>Let me know if you have any comments or suggestions with this new capability.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks,</div><div><br></div><div>Calvin</div></div>
