the available resources, but for your project start with the <a

href="https://www.arcgis.com/apps/webappviewer/index.html?id=8cc6be34f6b54992b27da17467492d2f">Ontario
Historical County Maps Project</a> put together by the map
library people at UofT. The McGill geography library also has a
large <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="https://www.mcgill.ca/library/find/maps/hist">inventory</a>
of Canadian shape files.<br>
