<p><font size="4">The easier approach might be to setup a conda
environment that includes pdal and qgis. When you activate that
environment you should have the pdal CLI, the python bindings
and qgis with pdal available.</font></p>

I've found it doesn't have PDAL so I'll (probably) need to build it from source.
Will it be enough to just sudo apt remove qgis qgis-plugin-grass before building?
