As part of my studies in Civil Peace Intervention, I am looking to download the Qgis software, as part of a course on conflict mapping and analysis. 

However, I am unable to download the Qgis software. Can you help me and explain how to do it? I'm on a linux/ubuntu system. Here are some screenshots of my attempts.
