 the staging.www.osgeo.org wordpress was installed using MyISAM which has a
 number of issues

 e.g transaction safety, not supporting multiple cores, not ANSI SQL
 compliant in enforcing things.

 MySQL and Maria planning to get rid of it in some future version.

 That said I'd like to convert all the tables to InnoDB and plan to do that
 this weekend.

 I spoke to GetInteractive and they said there was no specific reason they
 went with MyISAM.  Just happened to be the default.
