Hi there list!<div><br></div><div>I thought I would introduce myself, as you might think I'm somewhat of an impostor! My name is Will Cadell, and I moved from Scotland to Northern British Columbia three years ago. I've been a GIS consultant to the natural resource industry here ever since and am using open source GIS in a 'production' environment. I work for Timberline Natural Resource Group in Prince George which is a little industrial town about the size of Perth, but significantly more blue collar! I had my eyes opened to open source GIS by Tyler Mitchell who was my boss for a year or so when I started with Timberline. He recently mentioned to me that there is a Scottish osgeo group starting up and I couldn't resist getting in touch. </div><div><br></div><div>I'm very interested in what is being looked at in Scotland as far as open source GIS goes. We're lucky here in BC as we have a virtual hot bed of open source development going on.
