[SeasonOfDocs] Alternative discussion groups options

Hi All,

Just catching up after another week away from email. I heartily recommend
it :-)

I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that GitHub discussions might not do
everything we want, so I've started looking for alternatives and I came
across https://groups.io/. Does anyone have any experience of this already?

They offer a freemium service, but afaict their free offering ticks most,
if not all of our boxes- see https://groups.io/static/pricing for a
breakdown of features. The one slight issue might be the storage limit (1GB
for the free account) but there seem to be ways of managing that.

Is this something you'd like me to pursue further, in terms of setting us
up a group that we can subscribe to and test messaging options/subgroups
etc?
