I'm +1 for Google Style Guide, +0 for Microsoft Style Guide.

Reasons:

1. I agree we should pick something, and something is better than
nothing.

2. I'm in favour of picking a style guide which is likely to
attract a larger community. With Erin/Google offering to bring
community with them increases my vote for them.

3. I think Google's brand name is stronger with Open Source
communities than Microsoft (although that seems to be slowly
changing). I have no evidence to back up this gut feeling.

4. From comments from this team so far, it appears you'd prefer
the Microsoft Style Guide, but would be ok to work with Google
Style Guide.

I'd be very interested to hear from Becky who potentially also is
bringing content with her.
