[SoC] SOC Status update GeoWebCache / GeoServer

Status Report for Week Ending on 6th of June, 2008

For the past week I've been getting accustomed to the geoWebCache,  
learning the existing code and tweaking the GWC to do a number  
specific tasks my mentor set for me, in order to get to know the  
application. These included reconfiguring the GWC, adding a different  
layer to the existing demo, rewriting a simple client, etc.
I've also spent about 4 hours per day on #geoserver on freenode  
talking to my mentor.

The next step will be to start working with restlet.org and make a  
read-only interface for configuration objects in GWC.
