Hi all,<br><br>My name is Paul Meems and I'm from The Netherlands.<br>I joined this list because I want to be a mentor for the Google Summer of Code 2009<br>My GSoC ID is <b>mapwindow_pmeems</b><br>I want to mentor the MapWindow GIS Open Source (Microsoft .NET) project. It's not an OSGeo sponsored project yet, but the MapWindow organisation has been involved with OSGeo
for several years.<br>The project is not yet listed on the 'The ideas pages', but will be in few days.<br><br>I've been involved in MapWindow GIS for several years. First as a user of the ActiveX control and the main application, later as bug-finder (and occasional bug-fixer) and as developer of plug-ins. I'm also a moderator on the forums and try to help (new) users as much as possible.<br>
I started programming in VB6, but I'm now all into C#.<br><br>Looking forward being a mentor. As I'm correct I've made all steps to become a mentor. If I missed one, please let me know.<br><br>Thanks,<br><br>Paul Meems<br>
