seem to talk about extracting line-like elements into vector lines.<br>
Have you considered those? There is a module, r.thin[2], in GRASS<br>
which thins thick lines so that they can be extracted.</blockquote><div><br>Wolf,<br><br>It looks like r.to.vect build polygons bounding regions of similar raster cells (which is very useful). We're going to focus on more homogeneous lattice decompositions (points, rectangles, hexagons, meshes, etc.).<br>
