<div dir="ltr"><div>Hi all,</div><div><br></div><div>     I am Sandeep and my GSoC project is "Add Raster Format to scripting in gvSIG". [1].</div><div><br></div><div>   The following are the tasks i have been doing from 17th June - 21st June.</div>


<div><br></div><div>    <b>What did i do this week?</b></div><div><b>   </b></div><div>    --> I tried setting up the development workspace and got familiar with the     codebase. </div><div>
    </div><div>    --> I studied about several raster formats and their data representation.</div><div><br></div><div>    --> I got familiar with the scripting framework and several vector data access methods. </div>


<div><br></div><div>    <b>What i plan to do during next week?</b></div><div><br></div><div>    --> I will try to have a complete working development workspace so that the entire project can be carried out without any setbacks.</div>


<div><br></div><div>    --> Define the API and verify its feasibility with the existing Java API.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>    <b>Did i face any problems?</b></div><div>
    </div><div>    --> Yes. I faced a lot of trouble in setting the development environment and still facing it. I myself is very familiar with source code deployments but this one stood as a challenge for me. I will try to set it up by next week.</div>
