The first-ever FOSS4G travel grant program received 85 requests for<br>
assistance. The applicants come from across the globe, and represent a<br>
diversity of backgrounds, interests, and experience. We are very<br>
excited to have the opportunity to strengthen the open source community<br>
by bringing more people together at FOSS4G.But in order accomplish this<br>
task, we need your help. Grant requests (for registration, lodging, and<br>
travel costs) total over $100,000, which is more than ten times our<br>
currently available funding. We would like to raise an additional<br>
$10,000 to help meet this need. Please support your colleagues by<br>
donating to our travel grant fund here, or when you register. Every<br>
little bit helps; thank you for your support.<br>
