En gvSIG tienes ese tipo de herramientas que indicas: alarga,
recorta...con un funcionamiento muy similar al AutoCAD.<br>
Ojo, están integradas en la última versión (gvSIG 2.2). Precisamente
fue una de las novedades destacada de dicha versión.<br>
He grabado un minivideo para que veas el funcionamiento:<br>

El funcionamiento viene a ser: seleccionas herramienta, limite para
alargar y geometría a alargar. Y de forma similar con el recorte.<br>
Es recomendable NO editar en proyecciones geográficas
(Latitud/Longitud).<br>

Ando tratando de editar un archivo shp que tiene lineas
partidas (multiparte) y otras que en lugar de unirse se
cruzan.<br>

Si utilizo, por ejemplo, autocad map, puedo usar las
herramientas de dibujo como "join, trim, extend, etc" y
luego exportar a un archivo shp de nuevo. <br>

Trato de editar en qgis y gvsig y no le hallo la lógica de
edición, ni encuentro herramientas en las cuales pueda
hacer un "join, trim" o algo parecido.<br>

¿Me podrÃan orientar sobre este tema? ¿Hay otro software
libre que pueda hacer esto de forma sencillita?<br>
