Volker -

Just following onto Pedro's email, we (OGC and OSGeo) need to work closely 
on moving OpenSearch Geo through the OGC standards process so that conflicts 
or differences can be avoided. Please let me know if there are any questions 
or concerns. This is a great opportunity for OSGeo and the OGC to 
collaborate!

FYI, we will be using the OGC Fast Track process to move the candidate 
standard through the OGC process. This is a much shorter and more 
transparent process than the traditional OGC standards working group 
process.
