    <p>To answer your questions:</p>
    <p>I have a general interest in Open geospatial standards so the
      list seemed like it may be of interest. I suppose I'm using it as
      a mechanism for keeping abreast of these things.</p>
    <p>I don't have any inclination toward MOU's or the bureaucracy
      involved in creating standards so I avoid that stuff.</p>
    <p>That's my 1/160th. :-)</p>
