[Tilecache] can't find resolution index

I´ll maybe define my problem in an other way now:

I´ve an working OL application with maxResolution='auto' and 6 predefined
zoom levels.

how can I tell tilecache to use the same resolution and the same 6 zoom
levels?

(tried for one level by telling tilecache.cfg the BBOX and the correlated
maxresolution but I need this for all Zoom levels...)
