[Tilecache] Unable to get correct extent out of Mapserver WMS

Hello,

I am trying to get Tilecache to use a WMS layer from Mapserver in EPSG:4326.
I was able to get Tilecache to work using the default Openlayers map, and my
Mapserver WMS works with clients such as ESRI, QGIS. Unfortunately, when I
configure Tilecache to use Mapservers WMS, I do not get the correct extent.
Looking into this further, I found that the extent is not getting passed
between tilecache and Mapserver. If I have an extent defined in the
Mapserver map file then I will get an image of the entire map, no matter
where I am zoomed into. If the extent tag in mapserver is commented out then
Mapserver complains that the BBOX is invalid.

Does anyone know why the extent from Tilecache is not getting sent to
Mapserver WMS?
My mapfile is located in c:\ms4w\apps\myData\mymap.map. I am assuming this
is okay since Tilecache / Mapserver can find the file.
Once I get this "simple" tilecache configuration set up I would like to
eventually use a different EPSG, and I would like to use Mapserver directly,
and not as a WMS. If anyone has any tips that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
