The FOSSGIS team is planning to have a OSGeo code sprint in Bonn after
the FOSSGIS conference (21-24 March 2018), so I spoke with Till and
Astrid about the opportunity to extend the code sprint to a bigger one
(during the week 19-25 March) and they like the idea.

The place would be the Basecamp (great place) in Bonn as it was in the
last year, for people that were not there please look at images in the
wiki page [0]

Till already spoke to Basecamp guys and he is expecting to get
confirmation by the end of this year.

What do you think?
