[TOSprint] Fwd: Re: 2018 sprint and its location

Dear List - I just joined and forward this email I send as a reply to
Luca's email from yesterday.

BTW: As we already have requested for the same Hotel booking site, that
we had at FOSS4G 2016, we also can offer Hotel beds in Bonn for those,
that won't or can't accommodate in BaseCamp. Also we have the social
event from FOSSGIS conference whcich then wold take place in paralle to
the sprint on thursday evening, which can be extended to mix the
visitors of FOSSGIS with the international developer- tribe.

My question is: Who decides, where this OSGeo Codesprint takes place?

Hi Luca,

partwise right. I have already the confirmation of Basecamp. They want a
definitve YEs or NO from me until end of the year. So, things are all
done, we just need a confirmation and hope to fill the Basecamp with our
people between 20.-25. of March 2018.
