<p>Hello,</p>
<p>For context: OGC, OSGeo and the Apache Software Foundation have
been running Joint Code Sprints yearly, since <a
href="https://www.osgeo.org/events/joint-ogc-osgeo-asf-code-sprint-2021/">2021</a>.
This activity has been very productive (and IMH, enjoyable!) for
all organizations involved; it is also one of the key activities
identified in the <a
href="https://www.osgeo.org/resources/ogc-memorandum-understanding/">MoU</a>
signed between OGC and OSGeo.</p>
<p>Unfortunately we did not manage to organize anything last year,
and for 2026 we would like to plan ahead to ensure we will make it
this time. Within that context, we would like to share with you
the OGC 2026 Code Sprint Road Map, for which locations have been
already secured:</p>
<p>- Q1 Sprint: to be held in Colorado, US at the end of January.</p>
<p>- Q2 Sprint: to be held in London, UK at the end of May.</p>
<p>- Q3 Sprint: to be held in Barcelona, Spain, at the beginning of
October.</p>
<p>We would love to hear the feedback from the OSGeo community
regarding what times/locations would work best for you, in terms
of the Joint Sprint. Since the Q1 Sprint is scheduled for January,
we would appreciate to have your feedback before the 2nd of
December, so that we can make arrangements accordingly.</p>
<p> Thank You,</p>
<p> and have a Great
Day!</p>
<p>
Joana</p>
