Hi Giuseppe,

Glad to see you are interrested in helping UbuntuGIS project. Do you have any 
experience in debian/ubuntu packaging ? or with launchpad PPAs ?

I'm not sure to understand what you mean. I suppose you are describing your 
current installed system and you would like to compile packages on it? It is 
not recommended to test the packages on a installed system like that.. Most of 
packagers use a closed environment to test the packages, like 
pbuilder/cowbuilder. This way, we are sure the packages work great on a fresh 
install of the OS and that there are no missing dependencies. 

A first step would be to create your personnal PPA on launchpad: 
https://help.launchpad.net/Packaging/PPA

Get familiar with PPAs and test your packages there. After we can easily copy 
your packages in ubuntugis from there and we could add you as uploaders in 
UbuntuGIS PPA.
