Hello, I'm a long term consumer of you nice ppa, im just starting to play
around as a ubuntu developer and using launchpad as a beginner.Hello!

One question: Im planning to package some osgeo libraries into my ppa, at
the moment for testing and learn the workflow.

I dont want to create the *geos *project because I'm not a maintainer, but
I want package newer versions of the package, like recent 3.3.8.

What is the correct path to do it? I tell you my baby steps:

- I got the geos-3.3.8 tarball from osgeo
- I put my debian folder into it
- I created a bzr branch
<https://code.launchpad.net/~avances123/+junk/geos> with
that
- I created a recipe in order to have daily builds of that code. (will
never change)

I'm doing right? my issue now, it's I want (remember only for learning
purposes) to have the HEAD of the upstream svn in this branch to have real
daily builds, but It seems I need to create a project, and I don't
want/must not create the project.

Thanks in advance, I will work in ubuntugis packages from now, so maybe if
you want one brain with you, maybe I can help.

Cheers!!
