Hello list, and hello to Alan: I was in Chicoutimi and Tadoussac last summer, for whale watching :-)<br><br>I&#39;m from the SAGA [1] user group. In these days some of us were considering the opportunity to suggest it for launchpad/~ubuntugis. There are already a couple of personal ppa with SAGA [2] [3], but having it under ubuntugis would give SAGA more visibility.<br>
What is the policy to do it? Should it be previously under the OSGeo umbrella?<br><br>SAGA is a powerful software, under heavy testing. It still needs some more efforts for documentation and translation, but it&#39;s code for data analysis is mostly well tested and mature, so I think it would be important to give it visibility and let more users &quot;reach&quot; it.<br>
