Yes, the event is free to members and non-members of the BCS alike,  
and includes refreshments (and usually a trip to the pub too). The  
only requirement is that you register by sending out an email to  
GSG.Event at Googlemail.com - we have to supply BCS with a list of  
people who will be signing in for the usual security and health and  
safety reasons.
