Hi everyone

I can now announce that both registration and the Call for Presentations
are open for *Rasters Revealed* (and submissions and bookings have been
taken already!). This one day meeting will be held on *21st February 2017*
in the impressive surrounds of *Worcester College, Oxford*.

The meeting aims to bring together those with an interest in spatial raster
datasets of any kind. If you create, model, manage, pre-process, analyse or
disseminate such data then come and tell others about your experience. This
includes developing or using open software, and creating or using open
data, although a mix of open and proprietary is welcome on the day. The aim
is to provide for a range of knowledge levels and highlight the cool stuff
being done around raster datasets.

All the details can be found on the website (*http://rastersrevealed.net
<http://rastersrevealed.net>*) and are being tweeted using *#rastersrev*
but if there's anything missing or that you want clarified then just drop
me an email. In terms of presentations, both talks and workshops are being
sought, so if you want to share your experiences and find out what is going
on in other related sectors then come along and meet likeminded folk (and
have a look round an Oxford college!).

Cheers
Alastair
