[OSGeo-UK] FOSS4G UK Day 2017 Potential dates

Hi All,

To back up what Steven has said- if you'd like to run it as an OSGeo:UK
event we can offer the eventbrite account and the bank account/paypal, and
would give you whatever support we can.

If you don't want to run it as an OSGeo:UK event then that's fine, but I
think you'd need to consider the possibility of confusion with the name.
There are no legal constraints around FOSS4G being an OSGeo "brand" but
it's a long-established relationship (see
https://wiki.osgeo.org/wiki/FOSS4G#Using_the_Name_FOSS4G). Furthermore, I
would feel a little uneasy about tapping into the lists of sponsors that we
used for previous OSGeo:UK events, as it would seem as if we were passing
contact details on without permission.

Having said that- it's brilliant news, whatever the event gets called, and
well done for stepping up :-)
