For those of you who work with/for public sector, it's worth adding your OSS GIS application to the list.<BR>
Here is more on the reason why FSFE is collecting the list of software:<BR>

I guess <A HREF="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geographic_information_system">GIS</A> software is one of the most expensive solutions for any organization. Will be good to see how we can incorporate a comprehensive list of open source GIS to the list!<BR>
