<p>This year's SoC conference will again be jointly organised with BCS. It will be held over 6 days in London from 2-7 September. Entitled the 'UK Mapping Festival', we will be partnering with other organisations, such as hotOSM, geomob and OSGeo:UK to provide
as broad a mappy experience as possible. The call for formal paper contributions (which will take place on 5 Sept) is now open. For more details of the themes, etc, see:
