According to Mr. Eom’s last email, his team has a plan to have 'Open Source Geospatial Solution WorkShop’ at Brindisi, Italia around this February or March. He wants to have some OSGeo board members or experts there to discuss future cooperation. So, we need to move quickly I think.

Please share your thought on this.

Kind regards,

First of all thanks Arnulf for your leading this.

I’ve contacted Mr. Eom around 10 days ago about this and I got several documents from Mr. Eom. I’ll forward all those to board private list and Arnulf as well. Sorry for my late forwarding this, I’ve just awakened from long holidays.

There are 2 things we need to handle, I think.

1. MOU or exchanging letter with UN
- This should be done by board level, I think

2. Appoint new UN committee chair
- Maria showed her intention to lead UN committee, if nobody volunteer this role

Please share you idea on this.

Kind regards,
